SINOPSIS: Inglaterra, Segunda Guerra Mundial (1939-1945). Nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson) se ofrece como niñera a la señora Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal), que tiene que ocuparse de su granja mientras su marido está en el frente. Después de su llegada, Nanny descubre el conflicto que enfrenta a los hijos de la señora Green con dos primos malcriados recién llegados de la ciudad y que no tienen ninguna intención de irse. Pero los recursos de Nanny son inagotables: con una moto voladora, una estatua viviente, un cerdito trepador de árboles y un bebé elefante dará unas lecciones inolvidables a los traviesos e intrépidos niños.
